"I enjoyed every day of my 10 day intensive Italian course. After 4 days of learning I went out with an Italian friend of mine and we had more than a passable interaction in Italian in a busy social environment. After the full ten days i was driving with the same friend and we were discussing the philosophies of Aristotle. That is not a joke.
Learning on most days consists of continuous speaking of Italian throughout, largely in the subject areas specific to you the client. Interwoven with this is a very practical approach to learning key grammatical structures. This I found to be a far superior approach to the more linear approach to learning language at school, which adopts a 'learn first, use later' tactic with regards to big blocks of grammar, which are basically out of any context.
I would recommend these courses for anyone who is dedicated to learning a language. It is not a work free solution. Teacher student interaction has been the largest single contributing factor to the confidence that i now have with Italian. The subject matter was interesting and the approach obviously successful."
